We were looking for a quiet house with a view and a pool where we can gather as a family for a short 4-day stay! Déborah’s house is like a nest ….Perched and surrounded by nature! In a small hamlet inhabited by a few Spanish families…easy to find in the hills 20 minutes from torre del mare… In the middle of olive and mango trees… All terraces and stairs…Nice flower garden… Very nice pool! Peace and change of scenery are guaranteed! The sea and its beaches and restaurants are not far away… Torre del mare… Nerja… Maro … And Malaga is a very beautiful city to visit! On the mountain side…the village “canillas de aceituno” 15 minutes up is very pretty with stunning sunset views! Small shops… Bars… Restaurants… FYI… We rented cars from Helle Hollis and we are very happy about it!

Amazing house in the heart of Axarquia region close to Malaga. We were a family group of 9 pax. , the house had various rooms and toilets which is very comfortable for a big group. All house is very cosy and typical andalusian style; sorrounded by hills which are perfect for long walks. Going to bed with the sound of frogs from the valley and waking up with the sound of birds is just an incredible good feeling. Just make sure you come by car, as public transport connections are weak. 100% recommendable!

Deborah and Kacey have made every effort to ensure a smooth process (including a detailed word document with all the important information for the apartment). We stayed in the upper apartment and did not use the lower one, it was perfect for five people. Unfortunately, sometimes the water pressure is a bit weak, but this probably has to do with the region where the house is located. Otherwise, everything as Deborah describes it, is fantastically located in the mountains of Malaga, with a starry sky that you can only dream of and nothing to hear in the evening except dogs and crickets. I’ve never experienced such a welcome package at Airbnb, we were taken care of the first evening! Perfect for those who just want to get out, relax and swim in the pool from time to time or take trips to the surrounding area. Thank you for the wonderful week and the perfect hospitality!
